Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Samuel L Jackson says says ‘heads are gonna roll’ after spotting big error

Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Fury is one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most iconic characters, so much so that comics have replaced the super spy’s original appearance with the actor’s likeness. Everyone knows what he looks like.

…Except for the people who designed this poster.

The actor posted a photo of two Spider-Man: Far From Home posters side-by-side, and they both have the character’s eyepatch on different eyes!

To be fair, the MCU Spider-Man movies have had worse posters.

Tom Holland appeared on The Graham Norton Show last week to promote the superhero sequel, where he spoiled the ending of Avengers: Endgame and wound up some fans who hadn’t seen it yet.

Of course, Far From Home‘s own marketing has been spoiling that particular plot point a lot, with the spoilerific trailer appearing commonly in cinemas and all the bloomin’ time on YouTube.

Samuel L Jackson recently spoke to Digital Spy about the popularity of superhero movies, both Marvel and otherwise.

“I’ve been a comic book fan my whole life,” he said, “so I knew there was an appetite for movies about the things that we read that had a space for those particular characters that we loved in those comic books to be realised in a real kind of way for us.

“So I’m not surprised by the success of them. I’m more surprised by the not success of some of the others.”

Spider-Man: Far from Home will be released on July 2. Spider-Man: Homecomingis out now on Digital Download, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
