— For folks with diabetes, keeping up blood sugar might turn out to be more straightforward with more fit snacking, says the College of Michigan Complete Diabetes Middle.
Snacks with 15 to 30 grams of carbs and snacks containing not up to 150 energy normally are excellent choices.
For folks with diabetes, the college recommends:
- An apple with a little of peanut butter.
- Mandarin oranges and low-fat cottage cheese.
- Carrots and celery with hummus.
- Gentle popcorn or mini pretzels.
- Fruit and nut bars.
- Greek yogurt.
