Watch Stiff Pap’s Tune Video for ‘Mkokotelo’


Stiff Pap not too long ago shared a tune video for his or her unmarried “Mkokotelo.” The track is from the South African hip-hop duo’s newest EP Stiff Pap Radio.

“Mkokotelo,” some of the most powerful songs at the mission, blends the duo’s influences from kwaito to digital tune the use of hip-hop as base.

The track’s video used to be directed via Evan Wigdorowitz, and presentations the group in Adidas tracksuits functioning on a spinning Gusheshe.

“‘Mkokotelo’ is a phrase which principally refers to creating one thing out of not anything,” the duo informed Afropunk closing week. “We needed to create a visible illustration of that, from the quilt artwork throughout to the tune video. We take affect from the environment, and the more than a few items we achieve alongside the best way are what made us.”
